Our annual members BBQ has been held for quite a few years at the home of Joyce and Eric Higgens in Higgensville, Nova Scotia. This event is the start of our show season and there are always a bucket of blooms brought to whet our growing appetites. Most of us don’t have blooms until the first week in August but members George and Ruth Graham coax their dahlias to produce well in advance of that date.
The wonderful gardens that we tour, the great company and especially the BBQ chicken are always reasons to attend.
