This pink sport of Jomanda, is one of the top ball dahlias
in the world often winning best ball dahlia in show, yet it makes an
excellent garden or cut flower and the bright deep pink colour makes it a
standout in the garden.
Mary's Jomanda is a heavy bloomer and produces
plenty of excellent tubers that seem to keep well through our long storage
season. A must grow for all dahlia growers.

This lovely bright yellow lacinated type dahlia was grown from Nicola Higgo seed and was first planted in 1999.
Known to have lots of blooms, the bloom size is 6 to 8 inches across and grows to a height of 4 to 4 and a half feet.
It was named for George and Ruth Graham’s grand-daughter, was first
exhibited in 2002 and has been a prize winner for various growers in several exhibitions ever since.

This dahlia was developed by Dahlia Society of N.S. member Joe LaPierre and introduced in 1999.
It was chosen by the City of Halifax as one of three types of flowers to celebrate the city's 250th birthday celebrations.
A Display of Joe's introduction was featured in the Halifax Public Gardens for that year.

This dahlia was developed by Dahlia Society of N.S. member Dorothy Jones and introduced in 2003.
Onabrook Angel was awarded with the Derrill Hart Medal from the American Dahlia Society as the highest scoring B size dahlia in the American Dahlia Society Trial Gardens for that year. |
