Ed and Sylvia Alley's garden is located in the heart of the famous Annapolas Valley near the town of Berwick , Nova Scotia . This is a commercial operation but Ed , a senior judge with the American Dahlia Society, always finds time to exhibit his dahlias and also to give growing and care workshops for the Nova Scotia Dahlia Society.

His growing conditions are ideal except in a abnormal dry summer. This garden will be one of the two featured gardens on the bus tour for the ADS national show being held in Halifax , Nova Scotia in the year 2005.
